When the connector is overloaded or overheated, the sheath will produce a noticeable color change: the yellow, green and red sheaths are consistent with the colors of the three-phase wires. When a phase wire is overloaded or overheated, the sheath color can immediately undergo an "irreversible color change" to alert the on-duty electrician that the "phase voltage" change may have serious consequences.
